Myanmar (formerly Burma), is a Southeast Asian nation of more than 100 ethnic groups, bordering India, Bangladesh, China, Laos and Thailand.
Myanmar has a tropical climate, with the southwest monsoon bringing rain from May to October, its summers and monsoons are so hot and humid, it makes little sense to go to the country before the winter sets in. From March to May, the country becomes very hot, particularly the dry zone of the central floodplain where Bagan and Mandalay often see temperatures in excess of 40°C. Indochina tours Myanmar

The ancient part of Myanmar
Like much of South-East Asia, Myanmar’s dry season runs between October and May and the wet season from May/June to October, when the south-west monsoon begin to blow. Within each season there are variations in temperature, with the dry months prepare for the wet season (March and April) and the early wet season (May and June) usually being the hottest in the year when temperatures can reach astronomic highs. The colder months follow the end of the rains, from October to December/January, when it is cool in the foothills and highland areas, especially at night.
